John E O'Melia

1930 - 2018

John E. O’Melia, 88, of Franconia Twp., passed away on Thursday, November 22, 2018 at Lifequest Nursing Center Milford Twp. 

            He was the beloved husband of the late Alice Elaine O’Melia who had passed away in 1985.

            Born in North Andover MA.,

John was a member of Little Zion Lutheran Church, Telford. Mr. O’Melia loved watching various sporting events and spending his free time, traveling, swimming and cooking.

            Before retiring in 2016, he had been employed as a Chef at the Franconia Heritage Restaurant, John’s Plain and Fancy Diner, Quakertown and the former Trainer’s Restaurant, Quakertown.

He is survived by his Sisters-in-Law: Gladys Kazalonis of Telford, and Shirley Schanely and her husband Robert of Telford, John is also survived by his Fiancé’ Alice Clemens, also of Telford.  John was predeceased by his twin sister Joan Pelto.

            A Memorial Service will be held on Fri. Nov. 30, 2018 at 11:00 AM in the Little Zion Lutheran Church 267 Morwood Rd. Telford, PA. 18969 (for GPS use 799 Bergey Road, Telford.) Interment will follow in the Little Zion Lutheran Cemetery.  Memorial contributions may be made in his memory to the Church at the above address.
