Uncle John...

You were a True American Hero and a member of "The Greatest Generation."
What you and countless others like you
offered up on the beaches and in the jungles of the Pacific and the forests and fields of Europe could never be understood by any but combat veterans.
Just a shell of yourself for the past seven years you were still a "walking miracle." I truly regret not being there to mourn your passing and possibly have the Honor to carry you to your final resting place.
My prayers will be for Aunt Rose at this time, you don't need any, we know where you are. Rest In Peace and Semper Fi !
