John Schneider Sr. (Daddy-o), 59, of Wichita Falls passed away May 13, 2021. He was a loving father, husband, uncle, grandpa, and coworker.

The family will have a celebration of life Monday, May 17, 2021 at their private residence for family and friends. Please stop by anytime from 5-8 pm and share stories and memories of John.

John was born on December 10, 1961 in Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Arthur and Evelyn Schneider. He graduated from Burkburnett H.S. and always said to have taken some college classes. He married his wife Loyce Schneider and had two awesome kids Amanda Schneider and John Schneider Jr. John always loved cars and racing. In his younger days, he worked at mechanic shops and spent the weekends at the race track with his family. The last 16 years, John worked behind the deli counter at Walmart where you could always be met with his big grin. He will forever be remembered for that welcoming grin and his big hug that made you feel safe. When he wasn't at work you could still find him playing backyard mechanic for family and friends.

Along with his parents, John was preceded in death by three brothers-in-law Dennis Carpenter, Donald Carpenter and Gil Howard; and lifelong friend, Thomas Cline.

He is survived by wife, Loyce Schneider; daughter, Amanda Schneider; son, John Schneider Jr; granddaughter, Breeana Brown; brother, Jimmy Schneider and wife, Sue; sister, Theresa Johnson and husband, Clint; sister-in-law, Kathy Howard; sister-in-law, Brenda Carpenter;  brother-in-law, Lewis Confair and wife, Amina; and as well as numerous nieces and nephews that he loved like his own kids
