Graveside services will be held on Saturday, October 25, 2025, at 10:00 a.m. at the Fidelity Cemetery in Fidelity, Missouri.
Johnnie Lee Jeans, 78, was born March 20, 1947 in Carthage Missouri. He was the son of the late Luther Theodore and Minnie Irene Souder Jeans. He earned his angel wings October 5, 2025 surrounded by his family.
Johnnie graduated from Diamond High School, class of 1965, in Diamond, Missouri. He attended Crowder College in Neosho, Missouri. He joined the United States Army and was a parachutist with the 82nd Airborne, 508 Regiment, 3rd Battalion. He was honorably discharged May 15, 1968.
He worked as a crane operator, cable installer for Cable One and Heartland Cable. He also worked part time for the City of Ardmore Water Department before he retired.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife Delores Marie Potter Jeans; children, Heather Yvonne Lamoreaux and husband Wade of Lyman, WY; John Eric Jeans and wife Audrey of Casper, WY; stepchildren, Toni May and husband Tom of Plano, TX; and Billy Luetkahans and wife Cathy of Carver, MN; sisters, Francis Irene Finley of Diamond, MO; and Helen Loraine Rupp of Purdy, MO; grandchildren, Colby Gaylord and wife Kimberleigh; Mikayla Huffaker and husband Dustin; Camrin Jeans; Caden Jeans; Billy R. Luetkahans and wife Erin; Brandon Luetkahans and wife Kaylee; Brianna Chocklan and husband Mike, Madison May, Kaitlynn Alise and husband Angel Joseph Vizcaino; great grandchildren, Barrett Huffaker, Pasleigh and Masie Gaylord; Charlotte Rae and Billy Arthur Luetkahans, Bentley and Cross Vizcaino; and a very special niece Elesa King and many loved nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, first wife and mother of his children Sharon Ballentine Jeans-Taylor; and sisters Karolen Sue Johnson and Jo Ann Bradley.

I'm so sorry to hear of John's passing, and I do remember him well. We attended church together as well as attended the same school and even did that long bus ride to get there. Prayers for his family and friends, and may you be comforted by the happy times and memories you share.
