Jonathan Scott, affectionately known as Joe, of Beaver Falls, PA went home to be with our Lord and Savior on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, one day shy of his 75th birthday.
Born December 3, 1950, to the late Nathan and Bessie Mae Scott, Joe was educated in the Big Beaver Falls Area School system, where he received his High School diploma, the class of 1969.
Joe worked at General Alloy Foundry in Rochester until it closed, then at Providence Health Care for a few years, and then at Beaver Valley Alloy in Monaca, where he retired. Joe could fix anything around the house, be it electrical, plumbing or if you needed your car fixed, call Joe Scott. He loved to help anyone and was just a phone call away.
Joe loved his family; his daughters and grandchildren were very special to him. He loved his music and old westerns, and if you knew anything about Joe, you knew he loved those machines …
In addition to his parents, Joe was preceded in death by his devoted ex-wife, Blanche Scott Healey, and nephew (and Godson), Sylvester Scott Jr.
Joe is survived by his two daughters and sons in law Tannis (Terry) Scott Woods, Ambridge, PA and Tomara (Isaiah) Scott Sellers, Beaver Falls, PA, bonus daughter Anika Wilson of Beaver Falls, PA; grandchildren: Tressmon Scott, Dominique Fultz, Tony Fultz, Jamera Jones, Naszon Scott, Alaysiah Sellers, Isaiah Sellers Jr., Ayden Petronick, Kasmire Sellers; great grandchildren, Tony Damont Walker, Shadur Perry Long, and Zhavia Rayne Scott; and bonus granddaughter A’yndia Oxendine; two brothers William David Scott, New Brighton, PA, and Sylvester (Kathy) Scott, Beaver Falls, PA; devoted nieces, Adrienne Scott, Alyssa Scott and Sharyce (Nyasanu) Greene; devoted family and friends who were more like brothers, Robert Taylor, Paul Keith and Kevin Nesmith and a host of loving nieces, nephews and special friends who will miss him dearly.
And ye now therefore have sorrow: but I will see you again, and your heart shall rejoice, and your joy no man taketh from you. John 16:22 KJV
