JOSE NEVAREZ Obituary
Jose was born on May 29, 1951 to Jose and Aurora Nevarez in El Paso, Texas. He was married to the love of his life Antoinette Keau Kaaihue in 1987. He was a Vietnam Veteran that served in the Air Force. Jose loved the great outdoors, camping, hiking and fishing. He was a jack of all trades and loved fixing anything he got his hands on. He spent many hours talking on the phone with his sister Lola and never met a stranger he didn't know. He loved spending time with family, was a dear friend to many and will be missed by all who knew him.
He is preceded in death by his parents Joseph and Aurora Nevarez and sister, Grace Morales.
Jose is survived by his wife of 23 years Antoinette (Toni) Keau Kaaihue Nevarez, daughter Iysha Leinani Nevarez, sons, Samuel Kawika Nevarez and Jospeh Morrow of Las Vegas, NV, grandson, Damian Marcus Nevarez, sisters, Dolores (Lola) Sandoval and Olga Jacquez and husband Ralph of El Paso, TX, brother, Roberto Nevarez and wife Tellli of Waugehan, Il, as well as many nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews and many dear friends from Texas, California, Guam and Hawaii.
Donations may be made to the Nevarez family in loving memory of Jose Nevarez.

Dear Toni, Sam, Iysha,
My condolences to all of you.
I'll miss Joe.
I remember when Joe and Toni met. I was there. Also I went on a date with them soon after. I didn't have the beer in TJ but the dancing was fun 'while you (Toni) and Joe looked on. I was supposed to be the chaparone wasn't I? I can see Joe smilin' up there. Great memories for all!

My dear Toni and family,
I wish I could take away your sadness, but I know that it's impossible. Please take comfort knowing that you are thought of by so many people who love you and care about you.
My dear friend Toni--I just realized how long you and Joe were together. You were the love of his life! Keep the memories in your heart, and that's where he will always be. Always remember too that I'm here. We may not always see each other, or e-mail, or call... but I'm here for whenever you do need me.

Hey my second family,
I just want to thank all of you for all the years you welcomed me into your home and treated me like another son. Joe was a good man and great father. He taught us kids alot through the years. I wish i could've been there for the funeral. I send all my love and have you all in my prayers. I plan on going to visit you guys as soon i can. i love you all.

As hard as this is Thru God all things are possible!! It is not for us to question nor even understand but know that Joe had a purpose in this world that only God knew. He brightens your days, made you laugh when you wanted to cry, he made you a better person. Cherish all that is good, keep faith even when it seems there is no hope and he will take care of you. The only guarantee in life is the LORD! He is a constant and he is always on time (he watches time on a different clock). If you ever need a shoulder or an ear don't hesitate to ask. My wife lost her 1st husband. She has been in your shoes. All of our thoughts and prayers are directed to you and yours!!!!!!!!!!!!

Aloha Aunty and Cousins,
I love all of you with all my heart and pray that God will send HIS spirit to comfort and fill your gap. I pray that you will find strength in each other and in our families who are there with you all.
God's word says, "Blessed are they that mourn for they shall be comforted."
I love you uncle and thank you for sharing your home, life and family with me and my friend Koy back in the 90's. Ask Leilani and Aunty Jay, they remember that time. Thanks for the laughs as you took us south of the boarder into TJ.

I will pray for all of our family that God fill our hearts with peace. God's timing is perfect and most of the time we don't understand it but we can trust that he works in amazing and beautiful ways that might hurt but in time we learn how He was working in our lives and what his purpose was behind every experience and moment lived!
