Delosky, Joseph Duvall, resting in eternal peace on Tuesday, February 10, 2026. He leaves behind his loving wife of 66 years, Barbara, and devoted daughter, Lisa. Joe enjoyed playing the guitar from the age of 11. He liked watching basketball, completing jigsaw and word-seek puzzles, watching British television programs, and playing Scrabble and cards with Barbara - usually drawing the aces. He thrived in running a successful family business for over 40 years, knew more about coffee than anyone, and remained a kind and thoughtful soul throughout his days - a true gentleman in every way. Born at home by the shore of Elk Lake, Joe graduated from Waymart High School in Pennsylvania and proudly served his country in the United States Air Force from 1956 - 1960. He made friends with his gentle smile wherever he went, and was a beloved husband and cherished dad. We will love and miss him every day.
Services: Private interment in the spring at Jefferson Barracks National Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Tunnel to Towers Foundation. As a service of the SCHRADER Funeral Home and Crematory, friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

I feel very privileged to have had Mr Delosky in my life. Met in 1979 as he was the father of a dear high school friend. Not sure I was comfortable calling him "Joe" until adulthood. LOL.
Very devoted father and husband. Hard-working, honorable man with a good soul, sharp wit, and wry sense of humor. In many ways, though he may not have known it, he was a surrogate father figure to me at a time in my life showing a confused adolescent of what "real" families did and the proper role of a consummate patriarch when many are not blessed with such role models. Without a second's hesitation, welcomed me to his table and house more times than I can count. Listened to his son's and my inane adolescent blathering with genuine concern and interest. Sage advice and counseling about the real world. Not some Disney-fied version thereof. Sober, well-intentioned instruction into the world as it is. Selfless duty to family, country, and especially to one's life partner in all things. His love for Barbara was timeless.
Not all heroes wear capes.
Very lucky to have been given the opportunity to see him, Barbara, and Lisa briefly in the weeks before the end in frigid Columbia. Sharp as a tack, biting humor, and comedic comments under his breath. Did not learn until that visit that even one other person on the planet also shared an affinity for the quirky, slow-paced British detective series of decades, Midsomer Murders, currently on its 24th season. Joe was engaged with the episodes and laughed easily with another fan of the series. What can we say ? The man had good taste in content. Ha ha ha.
Nothing but good memories of such a warm-hearted soul. He will be sorely missed.
Requiescat in pace, Joe.
