JOSEPH M. ANELLI, age 70, beloved husband of Nancy (nee Downes); loving father of Daniel McNamara (Kristy) and Mary Anelli (Roosevelt Hardley); proud grandfather of Shelley, Kelley and Mariah (deceased); son of the late Mary (nee Anguilano) and Louis Anelli; brother of Mark (deceased), Cathy Solomon (Denny) and Celeste Spitalieri (Peter); beloved uncle, great uncle, cousin and friend of many. Passed away April 11, 2022 at home surrounded by his family. Relatives and friends are invited to meet for his Memorial Mass Tuesday, April 19, St. Rocco Church at 11 A.M. Joe was the best neighbor any could ask for. He was such a wonderful n sweet man. The summers are gonna be a little less brighter without him. May he rest among the angels and say hi to my mom while you're up there. Love you Joe.

I'm so sorry to hear of Joe's passing, we have known each other since we were kids. He was always such a sweet, funny guy and made out neighborhood a better place to live and grow up. The world will be a sadder place without him.

Joe was so precious. He never forgot to call me on Brian’s and my birthday. I will never forget the times he came to North Dakota to see us. I hope Brian and he are having a great time. May God and his angels bless and keep the Downes and Anelli families comforted and safe. You are loved.
