Joseph Neuhofer Obituary
Joseph B. Neuhofer age 89, of St. Joseph, FL passed away Saturday, July 29, 2023, at his home. He was born August 20, 1933, in St. Joseph, FL to Joseph P. & Helen Barthle Neuhofer. He was a U.S. Army Veteran and an active member of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, where he had been involved in the Men's Club and was a Lector for many years. He owned and operated a poultry farm for many years with his brother, was one of the founding members of Kumquat Growers, Inc. and was an avid bowler.
Joseph is survived by his wife: Margaret K. Neuhofer; 4 children: Richard Neuhofer (April), Karen Filips (Maury), Sharon Hassoun (Amin), Michael Neuhofer; 7 grandchildren who referred to him as "Big Daddy": Katie, Dakota, Kaitlyn, Heather, Justin, Sara and Austin (A.J.) and 5 siblings: Paul, Lena (Malloy), Sr. Mary Clare, Pat (Mary Ann), Mike (Marcia); and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.
Funeral Mass will be held 10am Tuesday, October 10, 2023, at Sacred Heart Catholic Church.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Gulfside Hospice, St. Jude's Children's Research Hospital or The American Cancer Society.

In lite of Mr. Joe demise, the family has my sympathy and regards. Eyes has not seen. Nor have eyes heard what God has in store for his people. Mr. Joe was and still is a God's people person. May God bless you and may God's glory continue to beam love ❤ among Mr. Joe's family with joy.
