Joseph Prine, Sr. Obituary
Joseph Emery Prine, Sr., 72, of Petal, died June 1, 2014, at Forrest General Hospital. Services will be at 11:30 a.m., Friday, June 6, 2014, at Moore Funeral Chapel in Petal followed by burial in Prine Cemetery.
Mr. Prine was the owner and operator of Prine Backhoe for 42 years and a member of Peace Ridge Missionary Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Bilbo and Paulene Prine; a brother, Gary Prine; and three sisters, Clara Prine, Wanda Prine and Juanita Legg.
He is survived by his wife, Linda H. Prine of Petal; a son, Joseph Emery (Tristie) Prine, Jr. of Spanish Fork, Utah; a daughter, Kelly McNamee of Decatur, MS; one grandson, Lance Corporal Joseph Emery “Tré” Prine III of Twenty Nine Palms, California; three brothers, Carlton Prine of Richton, Allen Prine of Oloh and Wayne Prine of Seminary; four sisters, Diane Shows of Richton, Evon Shallenbarger of Clinton, Illinois, Billy Clark of Petal and Sylvia Weatherford of Richton.
Visitation will be Thursday from 5-8 p.m. at Moore Funeral Home in Petal.
