JOSEPH SHEPPARD, JR.

1959 - 2026

Joseph Sheppard, 66 of Aliquippa transitioned on Monday, February 2, 2026 at Heritage Valley Hospital, Sewickley, PA following a lengthy illness.

Born February 28, 1959, he was the son of the late Joseph T. Sheppard and Pauline Sheppard. He was resident of Aliquippa since relocating from Lake City, FL at a young age. He attended school in the Aliquippa School District.

In addition to his parents, he was proceeded in death by his daughter, Danielle Crumity; his brother, Daniel Lamar Sheppard, Sr.; mother-in-law, Noreen Harvey; father-in-law, Gary Flannigan, Sr.; maternal grandparents, Reverend Theordore and Juanita Merrick; paternal grandparents, Nathan and Alphia Mae Sheppard; maternal grandmother-in-law, Annie Bell Hall; and Aunt, Jerrie Anna Harvey.

He leaves to cherish his memory his devoted wife, Suprena Sheppard; sons, Ke'Shawn Sheppard, Aliquippa, Joseph Burnett, St. Paul, MN; John Anthony Garrett, Florida; daughters, Tamara Swanson, Atlanta, GA, Caritta Garrett and Shantel McKenzie, Ambridge, PA; brother, Wade Sheppard, Aliquippa, PA; sisters, Glenda Sheppard, Ambridge, Sharon (Thomas) Steals, Hamburg, NY, and A'Frica T. Sheppard, Aliquippa; sisters-in-law, Hope and Boyanne Harvey, Aliquippa, Tamara Flannigan and Shanna Sligh El-Amin, Detroit, MI, Tyneisha Flannigan, Aliquippa and Ronni Edwards, Steubenville, OH; brothers-in-law, Gary (Kina) Flannigan, Jr. Detroit, Ahmad Flannigan and Willie Lindsey, Aliquippa; 19 grandchildren; granddog, Hugo; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
