Josephine Kimbrow

1932 - 2022

Josephine Kimbrow born on June 27, 1932 went into the presence of the Lord on September 17, 2022 at the age of 90.   

She is preceded in death by her husband, James Jim Kimbrow; parents, Jose Alvarado and Maria DeJesus Gallegos Alvarado; brothers, Fernando Alvarado, Angel Alvarado, Benito Alvarado, and Ruben Alvarado; sisters, Herlinda Ortiz, and Angie Gallegos.  

She is survived by her sons, Samuel Castillo, Efrain Menchaca Jr. and wife Rhonda, Daniel Menchaca and wife Vivian, and David Menchaca and wife Margaret Jane; sisters, Rebecca Gomez and husband Rudy, and Angie Gallegos; grandchildren, Galina, Gabriel, Gina, Robert, Christina, Christopher, Christian, Priscilla, Elizabeth, Ephraim, and Joseph;  great-grandchildren, Annabella, Anthony, Lexi, Alivia, Gabriella, Murphy, Mila, Neveah, Aurora, Olivia, Joshua, Caleb, Lilly, Mia, Gibson, Sophia, Hudson, Jackson, and one on the way, Maverick Rey; numerous extended family and friends.  Josie was a business owner for many years. 

She was member of Leon Valley Baptist Church for many years and later joined Talley Road Baptist Church.

She will be dearly missed by everyone who knew and loved her. 

A Memorial service will be held at Talley Road Baptist Church (3120 Talley Rd. San Antonio, TX  78253) on Saturday, October 1, 2022 at 2:00 PM.
