I feel so fortunate to have had Joyce (or Mumzie as she liked to be called) in my life the past 4 years. I wish I would have known her longer and been able to spend more time her. She made me feel so welcomed into the family and always greeted me with a big smile, hug, and kiss. I loved her wit and laughter. So kind, so generous, and so loving to everyone. Though she will be greatly missed, I will hold her gentle spirit in my heart, until we meet again. My condolences and love to the Gill family.

Auntie Joyce was precious! She was soft-spoken, so kind, and she had a cute, infectious laugh. Sometimes we would laugh together as we called her (and she called herself) "our icky Auntie Joyce". I guess that was funny because she was anything but icky! Always a kind word, always loving and a beautiful Mother. I know that you will all miss her dearly but look for her and you will see her everyday- in your siblings, in the grandchildren and even in your spouses. She influenced you all in a lovely, motherly and Christian way. What a gift God gave to us when he gave us Auntie Joyce.

We will miss you dearly. Going through the pictures for your homecoming has been hard. You were the centerpiece of all our many family get-togethers - I often joked that having a root canal was a cause for celebration in our family! I am so glad that you are no longer sick and able to dance with the angels now. You are probably making bread and lamb cake in your spare time, and it's no doubt calorie free.
