Juan Alviar Obituary
Juan C. Alviar Jr., born September 29, 1943, in Gunnison, Mississippi went to be with the Lord on January 19, 2025, at the age of 81. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Manuela Ferdin Alviar; parents, Juan and Adelita Alviar; daughter, Lisa Alviar; brother, Jose Alviar, and Jesse Alviar; sister, Carolina Alviar; and grandson, Gilbert Vallejo.
He is survived by his daughters, Adela Noriega and husband Luis Noriega, Manuela Aleman and husband Jose Aleman; grandchildren, Roy Vallejo, Jason Chavez, John Tenorio, Brian Vallejo, Michael Tenorio, Juan Alfaro, Alex Tenorio, and Leyla Aleman; great grandchildren, Isabel Vallejo, Yalena Chavez, and Nathan Vallejo; extended family and friends. His presence in our lives will be dearly missed.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, January 28, 2025, from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM with a 7:00 PM rosary at Hillcrest Funeral Home.
Procession will depart on Wednesday, January 29, 2025, at 9:30 AM for a 10:00 AM mass at San Martin de Porres Catholic Church. Interment to follow at San Fernando Cemetery III.
