Juan 'Johnny''s Obituary

With great sadness, we announce the passing of Johnny Perez, who left us on November 17, 2025.

Johnny was the son of Carlos and Victoria Perez and was born on September 14, 1974. As the oldest in his family, he lovingly took on the role of big brother to his siblings: Daniel, Lisa, Jessica, and Erica.

Johnny graduated from Palo Verde High School, Class of 1992. During his school years, he participated in cross country, football, track, and wrestling. He also enjoyed playing the saxophone and proudly served as Band Conductor.

He is survived by his three sons and wife: Jr, Dylan, and Gabriel Perez. He met his beautiful wife, Cathy, in 1993, and together they shared over 32 years of marriage.

Johnny lived his life with purpose and devoted his time to his family, doing all the things he loved. His firstborn, Jr, made him proud to become a father. His second son, Dylan, blessed him with the joy of becoming a grandfather to two beautiful grandchildren, Anthony and Rosalia and he treasured every moment working alongside him. His youngest son, Gabriel, was his youngest, and he spent countless hours teaching him everything he knew and loved.

Johnny enjoyed every moment of life, especially the time he spent with his wife and three boys. He loved the adrenaline of riding in the sand, attending off-road races, and sharing many hunting adventures with his sons. He taught them how to live and survive off the land. He cherished time spent with his siblings and friends, building many precious memories. Most of all, he treasured his summers watching the sunset alongside his wife, Cathy, at the Colorado River.

Johnny was everything a son could ever be, the best sibling we could ask for, an amazing husband to his wife and the most loving father anyone could ever want.

He will forever be missed, but we find comfort knowing he is resting until the Lord calls us all home and we are reunited again in heaven.

We are going to miss him until the rest of our lives.

John 3:16“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life".

Services for Johnny Perez will be held on Thursday, December 4th, 2025 at Frye Chapel in Blythe.  Visitation will begin at 10:00 a.m. and funeral service will start at 11:00 a.m.  Burial will follow at Palo Verde Cemetery.
