Mrs. Juana G. Lara, 89, entered into eternal rest on Tuesday, October 2, 2018.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Genaro and Florinda Gonzalez; and her husband, Jose Doroteo Lara.
Left to cherish her memory are her children, Cristina Lara, Florinda Lara; her grandchildren, Liliana (Juan Alfredo, Jr.) Alva, Juan Ramon Vela III; and her great-grandchildren, Kimberly Janelle Mendez, and Juan Alfredo Alva III. She is also survived by other loving relatives and friends.
The family will be receiving condolences on Wednesday evening, October 3, 2018 from 5 to 9 p.m. at Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels & Cremation Services, 719 Loring at Cortez; where a Vigil for the Deceased and Rosary will commence at 7 p.m.
Funeral Services will be held on Thursday morning, October 4, 2018 departing at 8:40 a.m. from Joe Jackson Heights Funeral Chapels to St. Joseph Catholic Church for a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:00 a.m.
Rite of Committal and Interment will follow at the family plot in the Calvary Catholic Cemetery.
