Howser, Judith L. (nee Teroy), passed away, Monday, January 26, 2026.
Loving mother of Mark (Colleen O'Brien) Howser and Robyn Campbell. Dear grandmother of Dalton, Merritt and Jack Howser; Grant and Zachary Campbell. Sister of Pat (Lonnie) Kersey, the late Ray and Jim Teroy.
Born on March 15, 1941, in Caruthersville, Missouri. Judy attended the University of Missouri, where she earned her Bachelor of Science in Education in 1966. She spent much of her life in Sikeston, living there from 1970 to 2001 and dedicating 33 years to teaching in the Sikeston Public Schools. Judy had a true heart for children and found deep purpose and joy in guiding, encouraging, and nurturing her students.
She was a faithful member of Hunter Memorial Presbyterian Church in Sikeston.
Above all, she treasured time spent with her grandchildren, finding her greatest joy in their laughter and presence. Outside the classroom, she also cherished time with family and friends at Montauk State Park and always delighted in discovering treasures at garage and estate sales. A creative spirit, continuing her education with community art classes, she expressed herself through art, painting, drawing, and calligraphy, leaving behind meaningful pieces that reflected her gentle nature and thoughtful heart.
She found comfort and happiness in life’s simple pleasures-the companionship of dogs, cardinals, magnolia blooms, and the magic of a white Christmas. These small joys reflected the grace, warmth, and deep appreciation for beauty that defined her life and legacy.
Services: Memorial gathering at the SCHRADER Funeral Home - Eureka, Friday, January 30, 2026 from 4 - 8 p.m. Contributions may be made to the Humane Society of Missouri. Friends may sign the family's on-line guestbook at Schrader.com.

I loved meeting "Robyn's Mom" at the farmer's markets, where she'd help sell sourdough. She always had a smile on her face, and genuinely just seemed happy to be out and about. I didn't know her well, but I know how well she raised her daughter, and that's a testament in and of itself. Sending love to the entire family.
