Judith Reinert Obituary

Judith A. "Judy" Reinert, 74, of Mohnton, passed away on Sunday, August 30, 2015 at the Reading Hospital.

She was the wife of Victor A. Reinert with whom she shared 53 years of marriage.

Born in Reading, she was a daughter of the late Floyd D. and Mary C. (Noll) Young.

Judy was a 1959 graduate of Governor Mifflin High School. She worked as a Switch Board Operator at Saint Joseph's Hospital for 29 years. She was a member of Saint John Evangelical Lutheran Church in Mohnton.

Surviving in addition to her husband are siblings, Robert D. "Butch", widower of Anna May Young; and Patti L.(Young), wife of Ronald J. Furman, all of Mohnton.

She is also survived by her two special family pets, Comet and Jack.

Relatives and Friends are invited to attend her Memorial Service on Thursday, September 3, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Giles & Yeckley Funeral Home and Crematorium, Inc., 21 Chestnut Street, Mohnton, with Pastor Rachael C. Dietz, officiating.

Friends may offer condolences to the family from 10:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home.

Interment will be private.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made in her memory to the Humane Society of Berks County, 1901 N. 11th Street, Reading, PA 19604 (on line at berkshumane.org), or to the Animal Rescue League, P.O. Box 69, Mohnton, PA 19540 (on line at berksarl.org).

So sorry to learn of Judy's passing. It's been many years since we crossed paths but I'll always remember her kindly for her patience and devotion when she adopted Henrietta, the former Powder Pupp feathered-mascot.
