Judy Bosgraf Obituary

Judy E. Bosgraf, age 77, a longtime resident of Wheaton, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, September 9, 2018, after a three year battle with pancreatic cancer. She was born February 25, 1941 in Winchester, MA to Kenneth and Esther Anderson.

Judy grew up in Woburn, MA where she graduated high school. She graduated from West Suburban School of Nursing and Wheaton College. On August 8, 1964, she married James Bosgraf. As the wife of a pastor, they served churches in Hanover Park, IL, Denver, CO and Oostburg, WI. For the past 26 years she has supported her husband in church planting throughout the midwest and Canada.

Her love for others was expressed in her nursing with elderly people. She retired as Director of Nursing at Windsor Park in Carol Stream in 2003.

In addition to her passion for her faith and people, she had a love for the outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Time spent at Lake Winnipesaukee in New Hampshire in the family camp was one of her favorite activities.

She is survived by her husband, James Bosgraf, two children, Kimberly Bosgraf of Berwyn and Scott (Lansing) Bosgraf of Lookout Mountain, GA, 3 grandchildren, Alexandra, Hamilton and Mya Bosgraf, one brother, Richard (Nancy) Anderson and nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her daughter, Heather and her parents.

A visitation will be held on Wednesday, September 12, 2018 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Hultgren Funeral Home, 304 N. Main St., Wheaton. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, September 13, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Bethel Presbyterian Church, 1401 S. Naperville Rd., Wheaton. Interment will follow at Wheaton Cemetery in Wheaton, Illinois.

Judy was a long time friend...since West Suburban days. We shared life more closely over the last several years and I will miss her laughter, her wisdom and zest for life. She had an indominable spirit and a deep love for Jesus. My life is richer for her friendship.

Our prayers are with each of you.
