Jules Armand Nicole

1925 - 2025

Jules A. Nicole, 99, entered into eternal rest on Friday, January 10, 2025 at Noble Hospital in Westfield.  Born in Glover, VT, son of the late Lucien and Yvonne (Cote) Nicole, he lived in Newport, VT for many years before moving to Feeding Hills in 1978.  Jules worked as a creamery worker for H.P. Hood for over forty years, most recently at the ice cream plant in Suffield, CT, before retiring in 1991.  Jules was a navy veteran having served in the Pacific during World War II,  He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.  In his younger days, he was an avid golfer and bowler.  He was also a lifelong Red Sox fan and loved playing cards with his extended family. He leaves his wife of sixty-one years, Helene H. (Veilleux) Nicole, three sons and their wives, Marc and Tracey Nicole of Severna Park, MD, Jean and Teisa Nicole of Manila, Philippines, Brian and Lynn Nicole of Castro Valley, CA.  He also leaves his seven beloved grandchildren, Marissa, Brendan, Elianna, Isabelle, Johanna, Gloria and Victoria.  His family will receive friends at the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, 745 Cooper Street on Thursday, Jan. 16, 2025, from 4-7.  The funeral will be Friday at 8:45am from the AGAWAM CURRAN JONES FUNERAL HOME, with a Mass in Sacred Heart Church at 9:45. The burial will follow in the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery.
