Julius's Obituary

Mr. Julius “Snowflake” Bouyer, son of the late Richard Bouyer and Nora V. George Bouyer, was born July 28, 1959, in Vidalia, Georgia. He was a graduate of Vidalia High School. At an early age, he professed his faith in Jesus Christ and joined Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church where he was a dedicated member. Later, he served faithfully at New Visions Missionary Baptist Church.

After graduating from high school, Julius served in the service of the United States Army. He served for eight years and was honorably discharged for his duty.

Snowflake, as he was affectionately known among friends and family, worked diligently for the Vidalia City School System as a landscaper. He enjoyed ensuring the properties of the schools were well maintained and manicured with his trusty riding lawnmower. After retiring, Snowflake started his own landscaping and handy man service within the community of Vidalia and the surrounding areas. He and his faithful truck were willing to come and provide a helping hand when needed. Julius quietly departed this life, Monday, July 1, 2024, at his home in Vidalia, Georgia. He was preceded in death by his father Richard and mother Nora V. Bouyer, sister Ruby Nell Cook, and brother Eugene “Snow” Broomfield.

Julius is survived by his sisters; Carolyn Harris of Tarrytown, GA, Jacqueline Bouyer (Marvin) Lane of Vidalia, GA; devoted companion, Beverly Wiggins; a host of devoted nieces, nephews,  and cousins; caring neighbors Cynthia Waring, Barbara Haynes and many friends.
