Justina Araujo, 90, of Harlingen, Texas passed away on March 26, 2026 surrounded by her loving family.

Born on September 27,1935 in Harlingen, Texas to the late Refugio & Augustina M. Araujo. 

Justina Araujo is survived by her daughters Oralia C. Jaure and Alejandra Jaure; and a son Pablo (Hortencia) Jaure, III; 12 grandchildren, 26 great grandchildren & four great great grandchildren; her siblings Ernestina Garcia, Pedro Araujo, Jose (Elida) Araujo, Guadalupe Araujo & Longino (Guadalupe) Araujo.

She was preceded in death by her brothers, Emilio & Marcelino Araujo, and her sisters Juanita Fonseca, Maria Cantu, Francisca Velasquez & Nicholasa Araujo.

Justina Araujo lived a long life, retiring from Unifirst Linen Services after 20+years, a member of the Our Lady of the Assumption Church and receiving a recognition of her generous work and dedication to the Music Ministry, she was also a devoted member of the Guadalupana’s.  

Visitation will be held at Trinity Funeral Home at Harrison on Monday, March 30, 2026 from 1:00pm-9:00 p.m. with a rosary to be recited by the Assumption Guadalupana's Chapter at 7:00 p.m.

A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church on March 31, 2026 at 1:00 p.m.

Interment burial to follow at Restlawn Memorial Park Cemetery in La Feria, Texas.
