Justine Shepheard Obituary
Justine Cochran Shepheard, 97, of Radford, passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2024. She was a longtime member of Bains Chapel Pentecostal Holiness Church and was retired from AT&T. She was preceded in death by her parents, Rev. Early Otto and Mamie Lucy Cochran; husband, Clifton B. Shepheard; great granddaughter, Sidney Elaine Shepheard; daughter-in-law, Audrey Shepheard; grandson-in-law, Tony Nardo; and brothers and sisters, Sidney, Haven, Wesley, Leon, Early, Lilly, Daphne, and Shirley.
Survivors include her sons and daughters-in-law, Leroy and Sandy Shepheard, Ronnie and Annie Shepheard, and Tony and Wanda Shepheard; Sister, Barbara Howard; 6 grandchildren and their spouses, Lynn Nardo, Leigh and Jamie Sorrells, Ginger and Bill Cullere, Leslie Shepheard, Scott and Amanda Shepheard, Katie Woodyard; 7 great grandchildren, Aaron, Cole and Lexi, Collin, Meghan, Jacob, Noah and McKenzie; great great grandchild, Logan and one on the way; and many nieces, nephews, and friends.
The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. until 12 p.m. on Monday, March 18, 2024, at the Mullins Funeral Home in Radford. Funeral services will begin at 12 p.m. with Pastor Danny Newman officiating. Interment will follow in the Appalachian Pentecostal Conference Cemetery in Dublin.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to the Bain's Chapel Church Building Fund, 1501 Glenmore Lane, Radford, VA, 24141.
