I will always remember Karel as a vibrant, fascinating, and resilient woman! (There aren't enough adjectives to describe how amazing this woman was). She was super-organized, one of the most meticulous clients and friends I have ever had the pleasure to work with! They talk about cats having 9 lives, but I think Karel did, too! One of my favorite stories was when we sold her house, and were at the closing table. Carol was signing a big stack of paperwork and started feeling very ill, but she toughed it out until she signed the very last page! Then we had to call 911. We later found out she had flatlined on the way to the hospital! We prayed like mad. Two weeks later, I saw her out on the dance floor, dancing up a storm at a local Ogden Dunes get-together, looking as vibrant as ever!!! That's how I will always remember her. Full of life!
