In Loving Memory of Karen Leigh Brown

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our beloved sister, Karen Leigh Brown, aged 73, on October 29, 2025. At the time of her passing, Karen was a resident of the Warren Center in Queensbury, NY.

Karen graduated from St. Mary’s Academy in 1970 and went on to earn an Associate Degree from Adirondack Community College. She dedicated over 20 years of service to CR Bard in Queensbury, where her commitment and work ethic were deeply valued.

A talented and generous soul, Karen found joy in crocheting, lovingly crafting countless beautiful gifts for her family and friends. Her creativity and thoughtfulness brought warmth to many lives.

Karen was the cherished daughter of the late Margaret (Peggy) and Earl Brown, and is lovingly remembered by her siblings: Deborah Kocinec (James Kocinec), Lisa Munoff (Michael Munoff), Peter Brown (Christine Gillmett-Brown), and Christopher Brown. She also leaves behind her adored niece, Jenna Brown, and nephews: Jason Kocinec, William Brown, Ryan Brown, Nicholas Munoff, and Nathan Munoff.

Karen’s warmth, creativity, and quiet strength will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her. The family extends heartfelt thanks to the staff of the Warren Center for the compassionate care they provided over the years.
