Katherine Ann Sherrill, affectionately known as Kathy, peacefully departed this life on December 31, 2025, at Sentara Care Complex in Hampton, Virginia, following a lengthy illness. To the family and loved ones of Kathy, I offer my deepest condolences for your loss. Knowing Kathy since she was 13 years old, I have very fond memories of her effervescent personality, and her boundless energy to bring smiles and laughter to anyone in her presence. She was always dear to me, and although it's been some time since I've seen her, know that I share your sadness. May she rest in beautiful peace until your reunion on the Day of Glory. The world will be a little less kinder in her absence.
