Kathryn E. (Hall) Gmitter

Kathryn E. Gmitter, 88, of South Plainfield, passed away on March 3, 2018. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the Funeral Service in the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue in Linden on Monday, March 12, 2018 at 10:30 am. Visiting hours will be held on Sunday, March 11th from 3-7 pm. Entombment will be at Rosedale Memorial Park in Linden. Kathryn was born in Park Crest, PA, lived in South Plainfield the past 2 years, prior Linden. She was an active member of the United Methodist Church of Linden and was a member of the Choir. She enjoyed crocheting puzzles, reading, gardening, baking, and especially spending time with family and friends. Kathryn was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frederick G. Gmitter (2007) and her dear son, Randy Gmitter (2005). She is survived by, her loving children, Debbie Horne and Dr. Fred Gmitter and his wife Wendy, 7 grandchildren, 3 step grandchildren, 1 great grandson, and her K9 companion Kicsi and her feathered friend Nikki. In lieu of flowers donations to the United Methodist Church of Linden, 321 North Wood Avenue, Linden, NJ 07036, in her memory would be appreciated.
