I am so sorry to hear about Kathy. I will always remember her as a fun loving person and all the good times we had at the bowling alley, tournaments and parties.
Unfortunately, I will not be able to pay my last respects for her as I am leaving for vacation Sunday morning but know that all of you are in my thoughts and prayers.❤❤

Kathy's Obituary

Kathy Delso, 71, of Monongahela, died Thursday, September 25, 2025 in the Jefferson Hospital. She was born June 10, 1954 in New Eagle, the daughter of Leonard A. "Skip" and Grace Franks Healey.

Kathy was a member of the former St. Anthony Parish in Monongahela and had attended school there. She graduated from Ringgold High School, class of 1972. After high school, she was employed for a few years at Charland Sportswear in Charleroi. On May 4, 1974, she married Robert V. Delso. Kathy was a devoted homemaker who loved her family, cooking, baking and crafting. She also enjoyed bowling with the Mon Valley Jednota League. 

She is survived by her son, Brian M. Delso and daughter, Brea (Tom) Laird, all of Monongahela; grandson, Dylan Roberts; brother, Larry (Darla Hubert) Healey of Fallowfield Township; sister, Cindy (Kevin) Brown of Perryopolis; two nieces, Ashley (Josh) Desko and their daughter Evelyn, Caitlyn (Michael) Luce and their daughter Alivia.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Robert "Buzzy" Delso who died February 11, 2014.

Friends will be received on Sunday, September 28, 2025 from 2-8 PM in the Frye Funeral Home, Inc., 427 West Main Street, Monongahela, where a blessing service will be held on Monday, September 29, 2025 at 11:00 AM with the Deacon Alexander Poroda officiating. 

Memorial contributions may be made to St. Andrew the Apostle Food Bank, 722 W. Main Street, Monongahela, PA 15063.
