Kelly Brian Thonn

1970 - 2026

Kelly Brian Thonn, age 55, of Lacombe, LA, passed away on Monday, January 19, 2026. 

He is survived by his wife, Michelle Kennedy Thonn; his daughter, Reganne Thonn; his brothers, Gary Thonn, and Jacob Harold Thonn Jr; his mother, Sylvia Fandal Thonn; four stepchildren, Shelby, David, George, 15 step-grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.  

He was preceded in death by his father, Jacob Harold Thonn Sr.

Kelly was a “mama’s boy” but also a “daddy’s boy.” His love of family outweighed him, and his faith in God guided his life. He will be remembered for being one of a kind, resilient, kindhearted, but strongly opinionated. He was able to light up any room, make others laugh, and find the positive in any situation.  

As a professional boat Captain, Kelly loved being on the water and found joy in fishing. He also enjoyed music, a good movie, cooking, tending to the plants, and caring for his baby Rudy. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Memorial Service at The Village Church Lutheran, 29180 Highway 190, Lacombe, LA. 70445, on Friday, February 6, 2026, at 6:00 P.M.  

A private Interment will be held in Forest Lawn Cemetery.
