Kenneth Boothe Obituary
On April 18, 2021 our dearly beloved Kenneth “Ken-Ken” Fernandez Boothe entered eternal rest. He was born on August 16, 1978 to Kenneth Logan and Deborah Boothe in Newport News, VA. Kenneth was one of five siblings.
Kenneth was educated in the Newport News Public School System. Kenneth later obtained his GED. He spent many years working for the City of Newport News, Marva Maid, & several other local companies. However, he always had a dream of being his own boss. One of Kenneth’s greatest accomplishments was when he started his mobile detailing business.
Kenneth was a beloved son, dad, brother, uncle, cousin, nephew, and a friend to many. He possessed a smile that was contagious. Ken-Ken enjoyed having engaging conversation with his family and friends, and he had a knack for making people laugh. His smooth laidback demeanor was a magnet for drawing people to him. Kenneth was affectionately known as a “mama’s boy”, and he definitely knew how to call her name. He was an awesome dad and loved to hang out with his children. He and his sister, Reka, shared a special bond and the same birthday.
Left to cherish his many precious memories are his beloved children Deshawn Foye, Jeremiah Foye-Boothe, Lyriq Singleton, McKenzie “Ms. Dee” Boothe, Howard “Lil Howard” Boothe, and Khyrie Foster; father, Kenneth (Annette) Logan; mother, Deborah “Ma” Boothe; one great aunt, Joan (Carol) Briggs; brother, Romardo Miles; cousin/brother, Morocco “Lil Tony” (Nadia) Boothe; sisters, Lareka “Reek” Boothe, Shakera Logan, and Shameka Calloway; cousin/sister, Sherry Boothe; nephews, Jassir Boothe, and Maleke Bynum; nieces, Alayna Morton, Aaliyah Womack, and Serenity Moore; the mothers of his children, Linda Foster, and Teniqua Foye; one special friend, Kisha Pope; a host of aunts, uncles, and cousins; his close friends, Bam, Colby, Woo, Lil Steve, Bryan, and many others. He is truly loved and will be missed by all who knew him!
Viewing will be held Tuesday April 27, 2021 from 2pm - 6pm at Nicholson - Cummings Funeral Home, 4304 Victoria Blvd., Hampton, VA 23669. Funeral service will be held Wednesday April 28, 2021 at 11am at Restoration and Faith Ministries, 2114 Wickham Ave., Newport News, VA 23607. Due to COVID-19 regulations, attendance is limited, and masks are required.
