Kenneth Swanson Obituary
Age 92, longtime resident of Thief River Falls, Minnesota, passed away on March 16, 2017 in Rogers, Minnesota.
Preceded in death by his sister, Doris (Harris) Johnson; grandsons, Cody & Alex McIntyre.
He is survived by his wife of 65 years, Doris; children, Petra (Dan) Brodin, Paulette McIntyre, Craig (Lisa), and Faye (Chuck) Johnson; grandchildren, Erika (Nils), Chris, Brittany (Brent), Case, Brady, Jessica, Jennie, Nicole, Brandon, & Sean; great-grandchildren, Matias, Lucas, Maya, Olivia, Landon, Cameron, and Jaden; sister, Lorraine (Paul) Sjulson and other family and friends.
Kenny's lifelong passions were faith, family, and farming. He was a lifelong member at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls. As an active grandfather, Ken treasured the time he spent with his grandchildren, watching and participating in their sporting events and other school functions. Kenny enjoyed a "pick-up" basketball game with his children and grandchildren until the ripe age of 90.
Memorial service will be at 2:00 PM on April 22nd at the Evangelical Covenant Church in Thief River Falls, MN, with visitation beginning an hour before the memorial service.
