Kenneth Welch, Jr. Obituary

Kenneth F. Welch, Jr. passed away on Tuesday, December 9, 2025 in Palm Coast, FL after a long battle with polycystic kidney disease. He was born to Kenneth and Veronica Welch in Montclair, NJ but grew up in Media, PA.

Kenneth was a devoted husband and father. He was loving, steady, and endlessly supportive. He shared his heart through his words, his guidance, his encouragement, his laughter and simply by being present in everyone’s life. He found joy in collecting Snoopy memorabilia, reading mystery novels and watching sports. With a garage full of tools, he could make or fix just about anything, and he approached every project with the same care and generosity he brought to the rest of his life.

He attended MacMurray College where he received a bachelor's degree in business and economics. He served in the Army as a First Lieutenant during the Vietnam War from 1966-1969. In 2008, he retired from Ameripol Synpol Corporation.

Kenneth F. Welch, Jr. met his wife Jimmie while stationed in Jackson, MS during the Vietnam War. They got married on August 19, 1967.

He is survived by his wife Jimmie, his daughters Kimberley and Rebecca, his son-in-law Jeffrey Bialos and his brother David Welch.
