KEVIN A. DECRANE Obituary
KEVIN A. DeCRANE, age 54, son of the late Mary Patricia (nee McDonnell) and Bernard DeCrane; much-loved “son” of Susan (nee Stewart) and the late Charles Budd, M.D.; dear brother of his twin Keith, Kathleen Chura, Sean (Beth) and the late Colleen DeCrane and “brother” of Charles Budd, David Budd, James Budd and Patricia Budd; proud uncle, nephew, cousin and friend of many. Kevin worked for many years for the City of Fairview Park Service Department. Passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on February 22, 2023 after a 16-year battle with pulmonary hypertension. Memorial Service Thursday, March 2, at 6 P.M. in the CHAMBERS FUNERAL HOME of CLEVELAND, 4420 ROCKY RIVER DR. AT PURITAS, where friends may call THURSDAY 3 P.M. UNTIL TIME OF SERVICE. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions are suggested to The Colleen DeCrane Family Foundation, 17209 Bradgate Ave., Cleveland, OH 44111.

Kevin was very instrumental in providing guidance, recommendations, and emotional support to Abby and myself when she was diagnosed with Pulmonary Hypertension in 2011. Partnering with Kevin, both Keith and Kevin were very helpful in orientating us to the Cleveland Clinic regimen as Abby was accepted into their lung transplant program. Their support and encouragement during her 2019 transplant process and the 90 day recovery period is something we'll both remember forever and prompt us to pay-it-forward with our PH group here in the Twin Cities.
