Kevin Knibbe Obituary
Kevin Knibbe, age 53, of Lapeer, Michigan died suddenly, Tuesday, January 5, 2021 at home in Lapeer. Kevin Dale Knibbe was born August 24, 1967 at Fort Benning, near Columbus, Georgia. He is the son of Hendrick "Hank" and the late Peggy (Harley) Knibbe. Kevin grew up in the Attica and Imlay City areas. He is a graduate of Imlay City High School, Class of 1985. Kevin has lived in Lapeer for the last 10 years.
He was employed as a day laborer for local factories.
Kevin is survived by: his father Hank Knibbe; his niece, Lana; and his nephew, Nathen.
He was preceded in death by: his mother, Peggy Knibbe; and his brothers: Kenneth Knibbe, Kelly Knibbe, and recently, Nick Knibbe.
The funeral will be held 11:00 am, Tuesday, January 12, 2021 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City, 225 N. Main Street, Imlay City, MI. Interment will take place at Arcadia Township Cemetery. Due to recent health concerns of the COVID-19 pandemic, social distancing (six feet apart), masks (to be worn at all times), and limited occupation (25 people at a time) of the funeral home will be enforced.
The family will be available for visitation 4-7 pm, Monday, January 11 and 10-11 am Tuesday, January 12 at Muir Brothers Funeral Home of Imlay City.

I was sorry to hear of Kevin's passing. I worked with Kevin and Kenny years ago at Scotts in Imlay City. Those guys took me rabbit hunting back in the day...good times! Both were great guys that unfortunately have left us too soon. My prayers go out to the family during this tough time. God bless.
