I’m am going to miss my friend that was like a brother to me till we meet again my brother

I am so sorry to hear this, sincere condolences to Sharon and family. When my sister has a wreck on 62 many years back I remember how he stayed there to make sure she was taken care of. He was a comfort to us at a scary time.

Kevin my brother you will be missed.

Kevin's Obituary

Kevin Lyle “Caveman” Satterly, 66, husband of Sharon Kay Nutgrass Satterly, passed away on October 18, 2025, at his home in Anderson County. Born January 18, 1959, he was the son of the late Bruce Satterly and Lelia Blanche Sea Satterly.

Kevin was a member of Freedom Baptist Church in Anderson County and a 1977 graduate of Western High School. He retired as a machinist from the Bendix Factory in Frankfort. Kevin was an avid dirt track race car driver and fan who loved the excitement of the sport and the friendships it brought. He enjoyed playing basketball and softball and spent many years coaching both men’s and women’s softball teams. He had a talent for working on and restoring old cars and trucks and found relaxation in riding his motorcycles, cherishing the time spent with friends who shared his passions. Above all, Kevin adored his family and treasured every moment with them.

Including Sharon, his wife of 45 years, Kevin is survived by his children, Sonya Satterly Conway and Clinton Lyle Satterly (Kristin Lester), both of Lawrenceburg; his siblings, Libby Satterly (Gary) Sea and Eunice (Donna) Satterly; grandchildren, Austin Smith, Gunner Conway, Cale Satterly, Creed Satterly, and Megan Conway; mother-in-law, Marilyn Nutgrass; sisters-in-law, Doris Satterly and Lori (Tyler) Hill; brother-in-law, Tim Nutgrass; and numerous beloved nieces and nephews.

Along with his parents, Kevin was preceded in death by his siblings, Denny Satterly, Bobby Satterly, Lonnie Satterly, Rita Satterly Curtsinger, and Cindy Satterly Sea; and his father-in-law, Clifton Nutgrass.

Memorial services will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, October 23, 2025, at Freedom Baptist Church, 1010 Powell Taylor Road, Lawrenceburg, with Bro. Steve Wells officiating. Inurnment will follow in the Freedom Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 PM on Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Freedom Baptist Church, and again on Thursday from 11:00 AM until the time of service.
