WALKER, Ms. Kim-age 60, of Flint, passed away Sunday, April 5, 2020 at Briarwood Manor.  Funeral services will be held 11:00am Saturday April 11, 2020 with a 10:30am family hour at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel, 3021 S. Dort Hwy., Flint, MI 48507. Rev. Gregory Cavette officiating. Calling hours are 1:00pm - 6:00pm Friday, April 10, 2020 at Sheldon T. Banks Funeral Chapel. The final resting place for Ms. Walker will be RiverRest Cemetery, Flint, MI. 

Ms. Kim Marie Walker was born on April 28, 1959 in Flint, Michigan to the union of Ewell and Dorothy Walker. She was a graduate of Flint Northern High School class of 1978. Kim was a housekeeper for many years; she was also employed at Buick City as a Foundry Worker for a short time. Kim enjoyed spending time listening to music, writing poetry, writing songs and singing. She also loved watching soap-operas, westerns and horror movies. Most of all she loved spending time with her children and grandchildren. Kim had a great sense of humor and was loved by many. 

Kim leaves to cherish loving memories: two daughters, Helen Walker of Flint, MI and Keona Mabone of Burton, MI; son, Chikia Mabone of Atlanta, GA; three sisters, Montez Walker, Tonia Walker and LaDelvin (Adeyinka) Sulaiman all of Flint, MI; nine grandchildren, Akimio Walker, Aaron Walker, Amarea Walker, Lamarien Daniels, Laniya Daniels, Demarion Wilson, Kairen Mabone, Aiden Mabone, Ma’Kyhi Mabone all of Flint, MI; two nephews, Deaven Walker and Desmond Sulaiman both of Flint, MI; nieces, TaQuanda Walker-Turner (Marques) of Columbus, MS, Tyanna Hunter-Conner (Raymond) of Flint, MI, Dorothy Walker-Sanders of Clinton Twp, MI, Montrice Walker-Sanders of Flint, MI; two great-nephews, Tristan and Tyzir Turner both of Columbus Mississippi; two great-nieces, Taraya Walker of Columbus Mississippi and Taya Conner of Flint, MI, two uncles, Erie Walker of Flint, MI and Billy Ray Brown of Flint Township, MI; two aunts, Collisteen Evans and Shirley Sanders both of Flint, MI; best friend of 30 plus years, Sherry Finklea; sons in love, Leroy Daniels of Burton, MI and Omar Brand of Ann Arbor, MI 

Ms. Kim Walker was preceded in death by, Parents, Ewell and Dorothy Walker; Grand-mothers, Helen Walker, Hazel Brown and Mattie Green; Grandfathers, Henry Steppes, Charlie Green and step-grandfather, Joe Brown; uncles, Shahada Al Noor (Carl J. Steppes), Victor Walker and Tom Walker.
