I am shocked to see Kirk has passed. I have worked with Kirk, and he has also been my attorney. He was always super nice and helpful. Kirk offered to sponsor me if I attended law school. I can't believe he's gone.

I met Kirk in 1992 in the under 39 men´s Sunday School class. We became friends, played cards together and when I needed legal help he was there. Kirk was a man of integrity, a man of God and a friend. I hope one day to see him again on the streets of glory.

I am an attorney in Danville and just learned of Kirk's passing. I am saddened by his loss. I have known him for years through the practice of law and always enjoyed seeing him - whether across the table in negotiations, across the courtroom in a case, or in the hallway of the courthouse. We both zealously represented our client and yet enjoyed seeing each other as fellow professionals. He was a fine man and a good soul.

May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. This is what Kirk would say: "Miss Me, But let me go. When I come to the end of the road and the sun has set for me, I want no rites in a gloom filled room, why cry for a soul set free? Miss me a little but not too long and not with your head bowed low. Remember the love that was once shared, miss me - but let me go. For this is a journey we all must take and each much go alone. It's all a part of The Master's Plan and a step on the road to home. When you are lonely and sick of heart, go to the friends we know, and bury your sorrows in doing good deeds. Miss me - - But let me go. - - - Kirk

Kirk was a selfless, honorable, and loving friend. He was anxious to see Jesus and hold his baby Simon again. A wonderful Sunday School teacher, he challenged us with probing questions each Sunday to help us grow in our Christian walk. We were blessed to spend time together outside of class in social situations as our class friendships grew. Prayers for Kirk’s family as they travel this Valley of Loss. We were all blessed by his life and kindness. God Bless.
