Krista Rowe Obituary

Krista Sheree Rowe

Krista a beloved, daughter, sister, mother, niece and cousin passed on Friday, November 15, 2024.  She leaves behind her parents Phil and Francine Rowe, her brother and his wife Ryan & Sienna Rowe, and her son precious baby Alexander Giovanni Nunez-Rowe who she called “Gio.” She also leaves behind so many beloved Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and friends.

Krista graduated from Sonora High School in 2000, graduated with a Bachelor in Science degree in 2006 and a Master's degree in Public Health in 2011. She worked as an EMT throughout Southern California for 10 years.

Krista will be remembered as a very beautiful, loving, sweet and bright young woman. She’ll also be remembered as being unique, creative and sometimes silly.  We will never forget her very unusual and colorful way of dressing that most would never dare to wear. And we can’t forget about her love for anything Hello Kitty. Her passion was as a Los Angeles Laker fan.

She left us far too soon and she will be forever in our hearts. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Barney and Frances Fernandez and Hazel Rowe.

I am so saddened to hear about the passing of my dear friend Krista. I first met Krista before heading to UCSD as a freshmen - we were matched as roommates and we had an initial call to get to know each other. We immediately connected over the phone - and I knew that even though I had no friends going into college, that having Krista by my side would make everything better. She was always up for having fun, took her studies seriously, but most of all, was always a friend to me. I have so many memories of laughing with her until we cried, listening to hip hop in the car, figuring out how to cook our freshmen year, going to college parties, and talking in our room until we both fell asleep. For anyone that knew her, knew that she was special - truly somebody that always kept it real and cared a lot for the people in her life. Krista, I am so lucky to have met you and thank you for helping me build my confidence in my college years/early 20s. You will forever leave an impression on me. Love you and will miss you. J-11 homies for life!

Francine, Phil, Ryan and Gio, my deepest condolences to you and your family. You were always so welcoming and warm to me - and I would love to connect to see if there's anything I can do to help in your time of grief or even to just share some stories about how wonderful Krista was. Thinking of you this holiday season.

My dear niece Krista Mae (as auntie PJ nicknamed her!) She definitely was very special - independent and courageous at times, and equally embraced such a kind thoughtful heart. She will always be remembered. May Francine and Phil find comfort knowing their family and friends surround them with prayers, condolences and positive thoughts ❤.

After prayer and fasting, these are the Words that I received from the Holy Spirit concerning our beloved sister and Nathaniel Ryan Zamora’s aunt, Krista, and these Words are true and faithful:

Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God believe also in Me. In my Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you. I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also. And where I go you know, and the way you know.
Thomas said to Him, “Lord, we do not know where You are going, and how can we know the way?
Jesus said to him, “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.
---
So we are always confident, knowing that while we are at home in the body we are absent from the Lord. For we walk by faith, not by sight. We are confident, yes, well pleased rather to be absent from the body and to be present with the Lord.
---
A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another; as I have loved you, that you also love one another. By this all will know that you are my disciples, if you have love for one another.
---
Now I saw heaven opened, and behold, a white horse. And He who sat on him was called Faithful and True, and in righteousness He judges and makes war. His eyes were like a flame of fire, and on His Head were many crowns. He was clothed with a robe dipped in blood, and His name is called The Word of GodAnd He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: KING OF KINGS AND LORD OF LORDS.
---
And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.

In Christ and with Agape for Krista into eternity, and we will see her next to the Tree of Life nourished by Living Water on a road paved with solid gold as her precious name is written in the Book of Life,

Steven, Jessica, Nathaniel, and Micah Zamora, Esqs.

First and foremost I would like to extend my deepest sympathies to Phil & Francine and the family . My heart breaks for your loss of your most delightful daughter who had the most giving heart and beautiful soul . She always provided much laughter during our phone calls over the years .
You all became Damien's second family and I felt blessed knowing he was with you . Krista always was respectful, kind and loving and full of empathy as that was her nature . I'm glad I got a chance to know her better from your well made video which showcased her many attributes and made me cry that her life her on earth had ended . But knowing Kitty as Damien and I nicknamed her she would be dancing and singing with her angel wings on . Thanks again for including Damien in her service and always being there for him . I miss her my condolences Gail Brackenbury ( Damien's (mom )

My sweet cousin, I can’t believe you have left us so soon! I will miss your chatty, Laker loving, Hello Kitty wearing vintage inspired style. I know you will be welcomed in heaven by Nani, Poppie and your Grandma! You can sit and watch the Lakers from above with them! I am grateful we were able to have so many adventures together! I will surely miss my running budding but I know you will be there beside me in the gentle breeze. I love you Keersta!!!
