Rachel and Raymond I’m so sorry for your loss. I’m remembering your mom as we were kids a pack of cousins getting into trouble. I hope she and your dad are riding together in heaven. God Bless you both.

I still picture her sitting by the pool. That’s how I’ll always remember her and Doug. Good people gone too soon. May they be reunited and rest together in peace now.

Kristine Daenzer
Reese, MI
Kristine A. Daenzer, 61, of Reese, peacefully passed away on Tuesday, July 2nd, surrounded by her family at Toni & Trish House after a short, intense battle with cancer. She was born September 4th, 1962 in Saginaw to Raymond and Judith Konsdorf. Kristine was a 1980 graduate of Eisenhower High School and went on to study accounting at Delta College. On November 21, 1986 she married the love of her life, Douglas Daenzer in Saginaw. He predeceased her on May 18th, 2019. Kristine had held various positions at various companies, but her favorite was running a daycare that allowed her to take care of children, including her own until their start of grade school. She then used her skills to be an administrative assistant at Wolverine Human Services until her retirement in 2015. Her greatest joy was being with her family, from spending time with her grandchildren to hitting the casino with her daughter for a show, some bingo and pressing her luck on the slot machines.
Kristine is survived by her mother Judith Konsdorf; her son, Dr. Raymond Daenzer, his wife Kari and their children Becklyn and Quintin; her daughter, Rachel (Daenzer) Marshall and her husband Jeffery; three brothers Timothy (Michelle) Konsdorf, Thomas (Vicki) Konsdorf, Steve (Sabreena) Konsdorf; brother-in-law Gregory (Amy) Daenzer; and numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
Besides her husband, Douglas, Kristine was preceded in death by her father Raymond Konsdorf and mother-in-law Ruth Daenzer.
Kristine’s family would like to extend a sincere thank you to the staff and volunteers of Toni & Trish House as well as the nurses of Cardinal Hospice for their compassionate care for their mom.
Memorial service will take place on Friday, July 12, 2024 at 11:00 a.m. at Cederberg Funeral Home of Frankenmuth, 590 N. Franklin Street. Cremation has taken place. Kristine’s family will receive visitors at the funeral home on Thursday, July 11th from 2:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. and on Friday from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service. Rather than sending flowers, Kristine's family requests the memorial donations be made to her son Raymond for a memorial to be established in her name at a later date.
