May the love of friends and family carry you through your grief. Larry, (“Hammer” as us Chicago All-Stars known him as), was a great man. Always enjoyed talking with him the past years as we played Snow-Shoe Softball on July 4th. He will be missed. From the Maize and O’Gara families and friends, RIP Hammer, the game will be different without you but we know you’ll be watching down and enjoying the show. May God bless all your family and friends. RIP sir

We only got to know Larry for about 2 years when we bought a piece of land next to his house. And in that time, he had an impact on our family. He was a household name (The Hammer) during our family conversations and we were always looking forward to seeing him drive by side-saddle on his four-wheeler and stopping by for a chat. He was a very helpful person, he mowed our lawn, moved our garbage cans and kept an eye out on our place while we were back home. This year, we were wondering where Larry was as we had not seen him and we are sorry to hear this news and he will be greatly missed. Our condolences to Larry's family in this time. We will be thinking and praying for your family.

So sorry for your loss. I didn’t know Larry but I work with his daughter, Jennifer, at the school. After reading some of the other tributes, I now know where Jennifer got her hardworking and kind work ethic from. I’m sure your dad was very proud of you! Thinking of you and your family during this difficult time.

I am so sorry, Judy, Lori, Jennifer, and their families. I didn't realize he was ill. I will keep all of you in my thoughts. Wasn't that long ago that I talked to Jennifer at Asprius. Not sure what else to say. I am still grieving for Tommy, it never goes away. Rely on your family; that is all you can do. Take care Judy, Lori and Jennifer. I am thinking of you.
