Larry James Workman

1973 - 2018

     Larry James Workman, 45, of Hardy, KY, passed away Sunday, December 9, 2018, at Pikeville Medical Center.
     He was born June 11, 1973, at Logan, WV, the son of Norma Sue Conley Thacker of Hardy, KY, and the late Larry Workman, SR.
     He was a disabled coal miner and a very loving young man who had a heart of gold.
     Other survivors include his step father, Donald Ray Thacker of Hardy, KY; his children, Tiffany Dawn Workman of Peru, IN and Gabriel Workman of IN; brothers, Eddie Albert Workman of Canada, KY and James Allen Workman of Phelps, KY; loving grandson, Kaysin Alan Workman of Peru, IN; grandparents, Albert Conley and Kathleen Conley of Logan, WV and several nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
     Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 1 PM in the R. E. Rogers Funeral Home Chapel with Bob Werntz officiating.  Burial will follow in the Bogar Cemetery, Narrows Branch, Hardy, KY, with family and friends serving as pallbearers.  Visitation will be held from 6 - 9 PM Tuesday, in the funeral home chapel.  R. E. Rogers Funeral Home of Belfry is serving the Workman family.  In leiu of flowers the family request that donations be made to the funeral home.
