Laura Mae Johnson

1948 - 2026

Laura Mae Johnson, age 77, passed away peacefully at her residence surrounded by her loving family.
She was born on June 25, 1948, in Monterey, Tennessee, to the late Earl and Roxie Todd.

Laura was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Johnson, and her parents, Earl and Roxie Todd.

She is survived by her children, Anthony and Angie Johnson, Darrell and Regina Johnson, and Shane
and Jamie Johnson; seven grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; and five sisters.

Laura earned her GED and lived a full and hardworking life. She served as a pastor, worked in a
factory, and owned several businesses throughout her life. Her faith was central to who she was, and
she attended Jesus Precious Word Church.

She enjoyed gardening, fishing, swimming, singing, and mowing the grass. She especially loved gospel
music and spending time with her family.

Visitation will be held Friday, March 27, from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Hall's Funeral Home.

Funeral services will take place Saturday, March 28, at 12:00 PM.

Burial will follow at Campground Cemetery.

Officiating the service will be Minister Aaron Dillon.

Pallbearers will be Shane Johnson, Cole Johnson, Dale Johnson, Lance Johnson, Jon Johnson, Jon
Johnson Jr., Sawyer Johnson, Mark Ogletree, and Max Ogletree.
