Laurece Hendrix Obituary

Laurece Hendrix, 58, passed away in a Greenville hospital on Wednesday, November 18, 2020.  He was born to the parentage of Herod Ward and Wilma Jean Dukes Hendrix in Greenville, Texas on July 14, 1962.  He received his formal education in the Greenville Independent School District, graduating from Greenville High School in 1980.  After high school, he attended Jarvis Christian College in Hawkins, Texas.


Laurence enlisted in the United States Navy where he served his country well.  He was a faithful and dedicated member of East Side Church of Christ.


Loved ones left to cherish his memory: a daughter, Nicole Ryland; a son, Glennardo Ryland; three grandchildren, Makari, Julian and Micah; three brothers, Herman Laboyd Hendrix, Lawrence Todd Hendrix (Paula) and LaMonte Hendrix (Indira); cousins, countless friends and other family.


He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers and grandparents.


A graveside service was held at the Center Point Cemetery in Greenville,Texas on Saturday, November 28, 2020 at 11:00 AM.  Interment will be in the Center Point Cemetery.
