Ledford Frasure, born on September 20th, 1944. A longtime resident of Ohio, passed away on March 24th, 2026, leaving behind a legacy of hard work, family, and a passion for the water.
Ledford was happiest when he was on his boat, whether cruising on the lake, fishing, or simply enjoying the peace and quiet of the water. He also found joy in riding his motorcycle, embracing the freedom and peace it brought him. He cherished time spent with his family and created countless memories with those he loved.
He was a devoted father figure to Joe Frasure, Susan Frasure, Crystal Frasure, Ledford (Tommy) Frasure (Shelia Frasure), Robert Frasure, Shelia Bierman (Krystal Bierman), Johnny Gleason, Aaron Sheets (Laura Sheets), Jessica Sheets, Justin Sheets (Brooke Sheets),He was also blessed with many grandchildren and great-grandchildren, all of whom brought him immense pride and happiness.
Ledford was preceded in death by his wife, Wilma Frasure and two daughters; Laura Heartsock and Cheryl Stewart. He later found companionship with Brenda Sheets in 2013, who survives him.
He will be remembered for his strength, his love for his family, the countless hours he spent on the water, and the life he built through dedication and perseverance. Ledford’s presence will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.
In lieu of flowers, the family invites you to honor Ledford Frasure’s memory with a donation to the Leukemia Research Foundation.
Visitation will take place Monday March 30th, 2026, from 1:00pm until time of Funeral Service at 2:00pm, both at Mihovk-Rosenacker Funeral Home, 10211 Plainfield Rd., Cincinnati, Ohio 45241. Entombment will occur following service at Rest Haven Memorial Park.
