Leilani Ortega-Castro

Leilani Ortega-Castro was born sleeping on Tuesday, January 6, 2026, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, Virginia. Though her time on earth was brief, her life is forever cherished and her memory deeply loved.

Leilani will always be remembered as a precious gift—held first in the arms of love and now resting in the arms of peace. Her presence, though quiet, has left an everlasting imprint on the hearts of her family.

She is survived by her loving parents, Elias Ortega and Jennifer Santos-Castro; her grandmothers, Aracely Santos Castro and Rosa Jimenez; her aunts, Estrella Gomez-Jimenez, Kimberlyn Navarro Santos, and Allisson Navarro Santos; and her uncles, Gael Ortega, Sebastian Gomez-Jimenez, Jose Luis Gomez-Jimenez, and Luis Santos-Castro.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, January 15, 2026, at 12:00 PM at Roselawn Burial Park, with Pastor Olives Villamizar officiating.
