Liborio Garcia Obituary

Liborio Frank "Bobcat" Garcia, age 67, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Midland, TX

Born on July 16, 1958, in Loraine, TX to the late Liborio Garcia and late Felicita Flores. He was raised in Snyder and Midland, TX

Frank attended Midland High School until age 17 before enlisting in the U.S. Army in January 1977. He was honorably discharged a year later. Throughout his life, he worked various jobs, primarily in maintenance. He was very artistic. If you knew Frank, it was to love Frank. When he entered the room, his hazel eyes and smile would brighten the atmosphere.

Frank was known for several passionate qualities:

      • Hobbies: He enjoyed drawing, doing tattoos, listening and dancing to Tejano music. Little Joe was his favorite artist. He loved to hustle                  anyone willing to play him in dominos or poker.

      • Sports: He was a dedicated fan of the Dallas Cowboys.

      • Character: Described as "one of the most down to earth" and a "Pachuco at heart" man, he was known for helping anyone in need without             hesitation.

      • Compassion: He had a deep love for his "fur baby" dog, Butch.

He is survived by his daughter Crystal C. Ramirez, Midland, TX; his son, Jesus P. Garcia, of Midland, TX; his grandchildren: Josiah M. Ramirez, Catarina L. Ramirez, Abrielle J. Ramirez, Auriana Garcia all of Midland, TX. His siblings: Lupe Flores and spouse Mary of Snyder, TX; Felicia Gallegos, Midland, TX; Maria Nava and spouse Juan, Plano, TX. He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Frank was preceded in death by his father, Liborio Garcia; his mother, Felicita Flores; brothers, Jesus Mirelez, Amity, OR; Manuel Herrera, Snyder, TX; Gilbert Gallegos, Midland, TX; Manuel and Greg Gallegos, both of Dallas, TX; sisters, Gloria Ramon, Midland, TX; Virginia Rios, Alicia Ramirez, Juanita Ramirez, Celia Martinez, all of Dallas, TX.

Visitation will be held at Heavenly Gate Funeral Home, 405 N Terrell, Midland, TX 79701 on Friday, February 20, 2026, and Saturday February 21, 2026, from 10am-9pm both days. Prayer service to be held on Friday, February 20, 2026, at 7pm. Rosary to be held Saturday, February 21, 2026, at 7pm.

The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude towards everyone who kept us in their thoughts and prayers, and to everyone who reached out, whether it was by calls, texts, and monetary donations. We are truly grateful. God bless.

We encourage everyone to wear anything of the Dallas Cowboys or his favorite color navy blue.
