Lillian H. Peska (nee Kutzendorfer), 93, passed peacefully to heaven on March 5, 2021 at her home in Park Ridge, IL.  She was born in Chicago on August 13, 1927 to the late Bohumil and Emily Kutzendorfer (nee Masek).  While attending Chicago schools, Lillian became an accomplished flutist and was active in the Czech organization Sokol Chicago.  After marrying the late Richard Peska, the couple lived in Oak Park, IL and raised their daughters Sandra (Robert) Bosy, Donna (Mel) Alexander, and Carolyn (Marty) Mueller.  Lillian was a secretary at Murray & Houha law office, involved in Irving School PTA, and played on the Oak Park YMCA volleyball team.  The family later moved to Park Ridge, IL where Lillian was a secretary at American Medical Technologists, IHSA volleyball official, active at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church, avid bridge player, and a member of many clubs including most recently 20th Century Club of Park Ridge.

 

Cherished grandmother of Scott (Poomani) Bosy, Ross Bosy, Melissa (Brian) Swanson (nee Alexander), Rick Alexander, Lauren Mueller, and the late Christine Mueller.  Dear great-grandmother of Aubrey and Ben Swanson. Visitation Saturday, March 13 from 9:30-11:30 a.m. at Nelson Funeral Home, 820 Talcott Road, Park Ridge.  A funeral mass will follow at Noon at Mary Seat of Wisdom Church, 920 Granville Ave, Park Ridge. Due to Covid concerns, social distancing rules will be observed and masks required. Interment St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, immediate family only.  A celebration of Lillian’s life will be held at a later date.  In lieu of flowers, please consider memorial donations to Mary Seat of Wisdom Church, 20th Century Club of Park Ridge, American Heart Association or American Cancer Society.
