Linda Lou Truman

1952 - 2025

Linda Lou Truman, 73, of Left Hand, passed away Tuesday, November 11, 2025, at Cabell Huntington Hospital, Huntington.

She was born April 17, 1952, at Spencer, the daughter of the late Alden H. and Thelma Pauline Starcher Bissell.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Harry S. Truman, whom she married December 21, 1972, at Newton; sister, Sandra Sue Bissell; nephew, Steven Bissell.

Linda was a homemaker.

She was a member of Linden Chapter #152, Order of the Eastern Star and she attended Henry’s Fork Baptist Church.

Survivors include her brother, James Earl Bissell of Clover; nieces and nephews, James E. Bissell, II, Jennifer McIntyre, Nathan Bissell all of Spencer, and Casandra Dobbins of Ripley.

A graveside service will be held at 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 15 at Clover Cemetery, Clover.

John H. Taylor Funeral Home, Spencer, is assisting the family with arrangements.
