Lindsay Eatherton Obituary

Lindsay Amanda Baugh Grindstaff Eatherton was born on November 17, 1982, in Norman, Oklahoma. She passed into God’s hands on Saturday, November 20, 2021, at her home in Lakewood, Colorado at the age of 39 years old.

Lindsay spent her early years in southwest Colorado where she attended Montezuma-Cortez High School. She graduated from Oklahoma Christian Academy in Edmond, Oklahoma in 2000. Lindsay, a life-long learner, attended college at Colorado State University and the University of Oklahoma where she studied public relations.

Lindsay loved the restaurant industry and avidly pursued her love of people in that profession. At the time of her death, she was a beloved employee at Shanahan’s Steakhouse in Denver. She loved life and her love of people, travel, and music shaped her as a person. Lindsay was an avid snowboarder, regularly attended musical events at Red Rocks, and loved visiting family and friends around the country and the world. Her greatest love was her daughter Atalisa.

She is also survived by her husband Brian Eatherton, father, Timothy Baugh of Denver, mother and stepfather, Susan and Pat Harden of Mammoth, Arizona, her brother Geoffrey Baugh of Germany, William Grindstaff, and countless family members, cherished loved ones and friends.

A celebration of Lindsay’s joy for life will be held at her beloved Red Rock Church - Littleton Campus, 9136 W. Bowles Avenue, Littleton, Colorado, 80123 on Sunday, December 5, 2021, at 2 pm. There will be a second service for Lindsay on December 10, 2021 at 10 am at the same church.

Forever and always my sister.
Think about you every day.
From getting in trouble together to talking about the Wu-Tang Clan, you are a part of my life that always will be. Big hearts and hugs to my big sis.

And I guess I'd say I'll see you soon
But the truth is that I see you now
Still talk to you like you're around
And I guess I say you left too soon
But the truth is that you never left
'Cause I never let myself forget

Lindsay, even though I only knew you for a couple of years as your landlord, I feel you were a very special woman. You were so nice to everyone and seemed to always have a smile on your face. I know you were an inspiration to my daughter. We are all missing you so much.

Oh my dearest “Linds” words cannot even begin to describe the loss I am feeling with you gone. There isn’t a day that doesn’t go by that my heart doesn’t stop hurting that you’ve left us. I know your in a better place but I wasn’t anywhere ready for you to leave me like this. We had so many memorable moments, and had so many undone ones that we planned to do with our girls and over night you left. I miss you so much as many others do you are so blessed and I love you so much Save me a place in heaven right beside you k cuz I’m coming. You will NEVER be forgotten down here you touched so many.
