Lindsey Stuart McDargh passed from this life October 18, 2022 in the home where he was born.
He was an interesting, humorous, creative, musical, occasionally magical individual. He had incredible recall, always mentioning what year events had taken place. Linzie resisted societies norms from the beginning of his 40 yrs. He enjoyed children, animals, our home and land and a good conversation.
He is survived by his mother, Delia Rapp; father, Stuart McDargh; sister, Chiriga "Chugi" Fisher Moore (John Franklin); aunt , Laurel McDargh (Carol); aunt, Teresa Rapp; loyal wife, Suzanne Grief; nephews, Wesley (Rebecca), Michael; niece, Delia; great-nephew, August; and a good friend, Fred Curlew.
Preceded in death by his grandparents, Marvin and Peg McDargh, J. Lowell and Hilda Rapp, and uncle Dennis L. Rapp.
Linzie gave his family and friends many joyous, happy, and frustrating years and great memories.
May you also enjoy them!
Arrangements are by Hughes-Moquin Funeral Home where you may send the family a message at www.hughesmoquinfuneralhome.com.

Linzie was an old friend of mine. One of the first I made when I was making my way through school in Athens. I remember his humor, his amazing artistry and music, and how he'd make me feel like the only person in the world by giving me his full attention. I cherish those memories. Sending good energy to all who knew him and loved him.

Lindsey was our neighbor and helped us with many projects. He was capable and strong. We are saddened for his family and friends and will miss seeing him on his tractor caring for the land he loved. He was a gentle soul.

I remember when Lindsey was born, and now at the other end of his time on earth the news of his passing hit me hard. My heart goes out to family and friends.. I will always remember Christmas morning 2019, when Suzanne and he arrived with a big bunny in a carriage at Hickory Creek for the gathered residents .. most unable to speak. They pushed the carriage around the wheelchairs, allowing each person to pet that soft fur. It was a very special morning
